The East Brunswick Youth Council Multi-Family Giant Yard Sale is set for Saturday, May 19, at the Crystal Springs Aquatic Center parking lot from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bargains, treasures and collector’s items are bound to be in  abundance at the event. Stop by and get household items, games, pet  supplies, sports equipment, furniture, bagage and much more. In recent years, funding to support the Arts throughout the state of New Jersey has been drastically cut and has forced many programs to downsize or be completely eliminated. Treazure Scapes, LLC, a Professional Fundraising Company, creates and organizes events to aid organizations in reaching their fundraising goals. Over the past five years, Treazure Scapes has built events to generate financial support for various causes.

The Spring Mother’s Day Gift Show is being held on Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 10am to 5pm at East Brunswick High School, 380 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ, to benefit the East Brunswick High School Drama Club and the East Brunswick Young Adult Charity Players (EBYACP) Arts’ Programs.

Zombie Prom is a 1950s based campy, rollicking, romp through the   “atomic age” of America and the “golden age” of sci-fi  horror comic  strips all brought to life as a musical comedy. Set in the  fabulous  ’50s, this is the tale of a sweet teenage Gidget-type girl named  Toffee  and the “rebel without a cause” Jonny whose name is noticeably  spelled  without the “h”. While the unlikely pairing falls in love at  Enrico  Fermi High School, the tyrant principal Miss Delilah Strict seeks to   intervene and persuade Toffee to distance herself from the potentially   troublesome Jonny. What ensues is a series of unfortunate events that  seems to  bring chaos and disorder into the halls of the high school  without rhyme or  reason until word of this conflict reaches the  sensationalist news reporter  Eddie Filigrante. How will this saga end?  Come find out for yourself at the Joseph  Sweeney auditorium at EBHS  Friday and Saturday,  March 16-17 at  7 PM.  Tickets are $5 for students/senior citizens  and $10 for adults. Tickets  will  be sold at the door.
